Growing Guide

Planting

If you are planting your Heuchera with other plants, be sure to position it towards the front as this is where it will grow best.

You can either choose to plant your Heuchera as single focal points or as part of a larger group for a big splash of colour.

Watering

When watering these plants the best time of day to do it is first thing in the morning, giving the leaves time to dry before the sun gets up high in the sky which can avoid scalding the leaves. It is also worth noting that you shouldn’t water Heuchera (or any other plants) in the late evening or at night if you want to avoid foliage diseases.

Pruning

Simply remove any tatty foliage or faded flowers as you spot it to keep them looking at their best.

Heuchera Planting Ideas

Plant alongside Tiarellas as these thrive in similar environment and look attractive next to one another.

Salvia plants are great for planting with Heuchera as they attract pollinators into the garden and can encourage a complementary selection of colours.
