The Amelanchier lamarckii, also known as the Smooth Serviceberry, is a beautiful small tree or large shrub with a graceful, spreading habit that brings interest to the garden throughout the year. Its young coppery-red leaves mature to green before transforming into brilliant shades of orange and red in autumn.
