Cornus alba 'Miracle' is a striking deciduous shrub renowned for its brilliant red stems, which provide a pop of colour even in the coldest winter months. The low maintenance hardy plant is a valuable addition to any garden or outdoor space. 'Miracle' thrives in well drained soil and full sun to partial shade. For the best stem colour prune it back to about 6 inches from the ground in late winter or early spring when the perennial is dormant. Regular pruning also helps maintain its shape. While 'Miracle' is relatively drought tolerant once established it benefits from consistent watering especially during dry spells. This vibrant shrub will grow up to 2m high and spread to 1.5m and will bring all year round beauty to your landscape with its stunning red stems during winter.
