Product Details

Westland Rooting Gel is designed to aid the rooting and establishment of cuttings, making it easier to grow new plants from parent ones. Taking a cutting from a plant is a simple yet effective method of propagation. By using a rooting product containing hormones, such as Westland Rooting Gel, you can significantly improve the success rate of your cuttings. The presence of hormones helps stimulate root growth, leading to quicker development and higher quality roots compared to when no rooting hormones are utilised.

No synthetic growth hormones or fungicides.

How to use:

For best results stand soft stem cuttings in water for 1/2 hour before using the gel— for hard wood cuttings soak them overnight
Dip the end of the cuttings in the gel and then insert into a suitable free-draining compost or rooting medium
Cover cuttings with glass or polythene and place in a light position but out of direct sunlight
