All Hillier Garden Centres Now Closed

Ever since the first news about the outbreak of COVID-19, we have been closely monitoring and following government advice across our business to best protect the health and safety of our customers and staff. Our Garden Centres and Restaurants are all now closed. We urge our customers to follow government advice closely.

At this unprecedented time, we would like to thank Hillier staff for their hard work and commitment in extraordinary circumstances and our customers for their patience, concern and kindness.

Gardening already plays a vital role in both our physical and mental health and wellbeing, and as we all increasingly practice self-isolation, we know the garden is going to be more important than ever now for everyone to get fresh air and keep active during this time. So, we are looking at how Hillier can continue to support our Gardening Club members safely during this period of uncertainty. Our website holds a wealth of information and ideas to keep you occupied in the garden during this time.

Home Deliveries

We have been asked by many of you whether we will offer home delivery during this period of isolation. We understand why and how important gardening is to you, but after some careful consideration we have made the decision not to offer this service at this time. 

We fully appreciate that this may be disappointing for those of you eager to continue working hard in your garden, but we are sure you will understand that the health and safety of our staff and our customers has to be our priority. We feel this is the most responsible action to take while the government advises everyone to stay at home unless it is absolutely essential.  

As always, we urge all our staff and customers to follow government advice during this period of uncertainty. We look forward to seeing you in our Garden Centres when it is safe to open once again.

Reward Vouchers & Gift Cards

We have also been asked what will happen with any reward vouchers from points earned, which expire on 31st March. Please do not worry, we will continue to honour them after we have made it through all of this. The same applies to any gift cards you may have that are due to expire.

Hanging Basket & Planted Container Workshops

Many of you have booked onto our hanging baskets and planted container workshops for this May. We will be in touch with anyone who has done soon about options for your cancelling or postponing this. Please bear with us as we work through cancelling our events, and contact affected customers in date order.
