Online Shop FAQs

Will I earn Gardening Club Points/can I use my rewards vouchers in the online shop?

Yes, absolutely. Make sure you are logged into your Gardening Club account online before you complete your purchase. This will allow us to show you the exact value of reward vouchers available for use at checkout and give you the option to use them for your online purchase if you wish. You also need to be logged in to access all current Gardening Club offers. 

You will earn points for online purchases exactly as you would in centres, at a rate of 5 points for every £1 spend.

Can I pay using Hillier Gift Cards or HTA Vouchers?

You can pay for purchases via the Hillier Online Shop using Hillier Gift Cards. During the checkout process, you will be given the option to enter any Hillier Gift Card number, this will then show you the value of the card and deduct it from your total.  

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept HTA vouchers as payment through the Hillier Online Shop at this time.

Can I place an order by phone?

At this time, we can only accept orders though the website and not via phone or email unfortunately.

Can I place an order for collection at my local Hillier Garden Centre?

Orders are only available for delivery to home addresses at this time and not available for collection from our Garden Centres.

How do I know the size of the plant I am ordering?

Every plant will have a size listing at the end of the name. This will either say 2L, 3L or 5L. This number refers to the litre capacity of the pot the plant is growing in, i.e. 2 litre, 3 litre or 5 litre. The image below shows you the size of these pots and what you can expect.

We grow and deliver plants of this size because they are small enough to establish quickly in your garden, but still big enough to provide an impact in the first year. Please note that the size of the plant will vary depending on the type of plant and time of year.

Can I use my Hillier Trade Card for discounts online?

Trade Cards can only be used in person. They can be used in any one of our 18 Garden Centres, or at our Romsey Cash and Carry. Trade Discounts do not apply to the Hillier Online Shop.

What should I do if I can’t find what I’m looking for via the Online Shop?

Please be aware that our full range is not initially available online, but will be increasing over time.

If you cannot find what you are looking for and have tried using our search function, try contacting your nearest Hillier Garden Centre to see if they have availability.

An item I want is out of stock. What happens now?

Availability of products online changes throughout the year and can also change quickly due to unforeseen circumstances.

What forms of payment do you accept online?

Payment can be made through our secure online checkout system by credit or debit card, or you can also use Hillier Gift Cards or Reward Vouchers towards your order.

What happens if I have multiple items on my order?

We will always aim to combine your order into a single delivery, but on occasion, some deliveries may not arrive together, depending on the type of products ordered and the most appropriate delivery methods available.

Can I amend or cancel my order?

If you have bought goods from us and you wish to amend or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at onlineshop@hillier.co.uk.

What do I do if my delivery is delayed?

We will deliver the goods to you as soon as reasonably possible. We always aim to deliver within the quoted time frame but delivery times are not guaranteed.
