A hardy, deciduous to semi-evergreen shrub with ovate bronze- or purple-flushed, dark green leaves. From midsummer into autumn, clusters of star-shaped, yellow-orange flowers are produced followed by deep maroon fruit. Easy-to-grow, for mixed borders, in containers and ideal for cutting.
