Caryopteris clandonensis 'Blue Balloon' is a compact, rounded deciduous shrub that brings a burst of colour to the late season garden. It features upright stems clothed in long, aromatic, dark green leaves with attractive grey-silver undersides. From late summer into autumn, it produces clusters of deep blue, fragrant flowers that are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. Ideal for borders, gravel gardens, or as a low informal hedge, 'Blue Balloon' offers reliable structure and vibrant colour when many other plants are fading.
