This rowan is a stunning small ornamental tree with its blue-green leaves adding a rich texture to the neat form. The leaflets are sharply toothed almost to the base and the autumnal display is eye-catching as it colours up from green to yellow to red.
The colour of the large fruit clusters are a dark, richly golden hue which are a striking spectacle both when the leaves are still blue-green and during the change from yellow to red.
This selection has proved to be a most hardy and useful small tree which offers excellent seasonal interest from its flowering period in the spring through to the leaf colour in summer and autumn, the attractive fruits and then the stout shoots with grey hairy buds in the winter.
