Tree Information

This Sorbus was raised on our nurseries and it was clear very early on that this out-stripped the pink-berried varieties we used to grow. It has great vigour and as such are quick to establish and soon reaches its final height as a small tree.

The flowers appear during May and June in corymbs and are followed by the berries that turn a striking pale pink with a white blush. It is a good substitute for Sorbus hupehensis, even though it is not a pure white colour.

Size 8m high x 5m wide after 25 years. Ultimately a small tree.
Canopy Neat, broadly upright and compact well balanced crown.
Foliage Pinnate – a long mid-rib with 11-19 leaflets.
Flowers White flowers in May and early June.
Fruit Pink with white flush fruits.
