Tree Information

The Prunus subhirtella ‘Autumnalis Rosea’ is a small tree with an elegant open habit. Also known as the winter-flowering cherry. Blush pink flowers are produced in mild periods throughout winter (November-April). It could be said it is more spectacular in flower than the off-white ‘Autumnalis’ and stronger growing as well. Stunning on a dull winter’s day, when the flowers can be fully appreciated. Also produced as a multi-stem, when it is most effective. Lovely as a courtyard tree or plant in a position where the little flowers can brighten up long winter days.
