Hillier Trees COVID–19 Statement
After a careful review of the latest government advice Hillier Nurseries, Amenity Trees division is continuing to trade, operating within the guidelines laid down by the government.
Sales & Delivery Queries
The sales team are now all working from home and are available to answer your tree queries, return quotes and very happy to process any orders!
Each Account Manager is picking up their emails and is available on their mobile phones. If you don’t have these details then please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Account Managers will also be able to answer any queries you may have on forthcoming deliveries. If you don’t have a direct contact number then please email email@example.com
Current Booked Deliveries
We are still able to offer delivery of trees to commercial sites via our third party transport partners. However we are having to take additional precautions with our tree lifting teams and loading teams, which is slowing our despatching process down a little, we are striving to maintain our turnaround times, but we would ask for your understanding if this is not always achievable.
Our delivery drivers will not come into close contact with you and will keep their 2-metre distance as per Government guidelines.
During this pandemic, we will not be asking customers to sign their delivery notes.
We will strive to provide a normal delivery service to you and thank you for your support.
If you are due for a delivery in the next week or so and you become aware of problems on-site which will (or is likely to) prevent you from taking delivery of your trees, then please contact us asap, (firstname.lastname@example.org) we want to avoid unnecessary movement of stock around the country & if we can keep the trees in the ground which aren’t required then so much the better.
New Orders for More Immediate Supply
We are no longer taking new orders for bare root or root ball (field-grown trees), this is more to do with a very early spring and trees coming into leaf than COVID-19. We hope to be able to lift and deliver all existing orders, but mother nature may have other ideas! Your Account Manager will keep you updated.
We do have a full nursery of container-grown trees, and we are very happy to take new orders for these for immediate delivery or for delivery over the spring and summer. We can send you our current availability list, please contact your Account Manager or email email@example.com.
Looking Ahead to Brighter Tree-filled Times!
When we do get to the other side of this coronavirus crisis, then we are all going to need to get the country back trading (& plating) as quickly as possible. At Hillier, we are currently busy planting & transplanting trees in our fields to ensure we continue to have a fantastic range and quality available for you. We are also expanding our container tree nursery to allow us to pot even more container trees, increasing our 45litre range by nearly 50% this year, together with more, 80 litre, 200 litre and an amazing range of semi & super semi-mature trees grown in air pots.
We will welcome your visit to any of our nursery sites, just as soon as the world gets back to some kind of normality!
Thank you for all your support to date. Stay safe.
Hillier Amenity Team.
