Fagus sylvatica ‘Purple Fountain'

"Weeping Purple Beech"

Common Name

"Weeping Purple Beech"

Small and narrow upright weeping purple tree. The leaves on the young shoots are strikingly red, the limbs droop down loosely. The tree is usually used as a single specimen or focal point but due to its narrow shape it can be used in tighter spaces than most other weeping beech trees.
