Pittosporum ‘Green Mound’ is a compact, spreading evergreen shrub that forms a neat, elegant dome of glossy green foliage, perfect for adding year-round structure to the garden. This innovative sterile hybrid combines the best qualities of its parent plants, producing an abundance of highly fragrant white flowers in late spring, each around 1cm across, which gently fade to soft yellow as they mature. Drought tolerant and hardy to -12°C, it thrives in full sun to light shade and suits most free-draining soils. Ideal for borders, containers, low hedging or terraces, it can be easily shaped into a ball or trained as a standard, reaching around 150cm in height and spread.
