The Forest Garden Kitchen Garden Planter – 1m is a compact and practical raised bed designed to bring homegrown herbs, salads, and flowers right to your doorstep. With its convenient raised height of around 70–90cm, it makes planting, tending, and harvesting far easier, reducing the need to bend while keeping your crops neatly contained. Its smart proportions mean it fits comfortably in smaller spaces such as patios, balconies, or beside a back door, while still offering plenty of room for productive growing. Whether you are cultivating kitchen essentials like thyme, sage, parsley, and chives or creating a colourful floral display, this planter provides a versatile and attractive solution.
Crafted in the UK from FSC® certified, UK-grown timber, the planter is pressure treated for long-lasting protection against rot and comes with a 15-year anti-rot guarantee. It is quick and simple to assemble with just a few screws required, and can be filled with approximately 140 litres of compost. For best results, especially when growing edible crops, lining the interior with a porous membrane is recommended to help retain soil while allowing drainage.
