Hillier is the UK’s largest grower of trees, with around 750,000 trees growing at any one time across our field nurseries in Hampshire.
The great news is, our trees are not exclusively available for trade and commercial customers. Through our tree retail team, based at our Sunningdale Garden Centre, it is possible for individuals to also purchase any of our A* quality trees for your own private gardens, whether your order is for 1, 10 or 100.
The Order Process
1. Discuss Your Requirements
Contact our tree retail team by emailing bobmcqueen@hillier.co.uk. They coordinate the sale of trees to private individuals and can offer advice on best varieties and the right trees for the right purpose if needed.
Following your enquiry and our response, to assist discussions many people email photos of their garden or outdoor space. Some people choose to visit Sunningdale Garden Centre to view the trees up close. For very specific variety requests, it is also possible to view trees at our field nurseries in Hampshire.

2. Get a Quote
Once you have an order in mind, we can provide you with a quote. Once you are happy with this, payment can be made by cash or card, including over the phone.
3. Delivery and planting
Your trees will typically be ready within 2-3 weeks of placing your order (dependent on tree varieties and availability).
Our delivery service can arrange to come out to you within a wide radius across South England and Midlands. The cost for this will be included in your quote. We can also deliver all over the country using a courier service.
