Medium. A new birch with good upright habit. Found in the nursery of Edinburgh Botanic Gardens, where it is labelled as a hybrid between B.n utilis and B. albosinensis. This tree is of medium height and an upright habit. The original tree is now approaching 50 years old and is approximately 40ft high by 10-15ft wide. This is proving to be an excellent tree which is vigorous with excellent white bark.
