Meet The Suppliers Event for Landscape Contractors

** Event has now passed. Please keep an eye out for future ‘Meet the Suppliers’ events **

Following the success of previous ‘Meet the Suppliers’ events, Hillier Trees are pleased to announce a new, free-of-charge, event for landscape contractors on 26th April 2017 at Hillier Head Office at Ampfield House, near Romsey in Hampshire.

Summary of the event:

The Hillier ‘Meet the Suppliers’ events give a great opportunity to tour the tree nursery at Hillier, plus receive the latest industry insights from a number of leading companies all in one day.

The event starts in the morning with a tour of the expanded Hillier container tree nursery.  Here you will be provided with a unique insight into the day-to-day running of the nursery, finding out how we ensure the highest quality of trees and a successful establishment for your planting.

At the container tree nursery, Gripple, a world-leading manufacturer of wire joining and tension systems, will provide a live demonstration to showcase their anchoring and guying systems required for larger tree planting.

After the nursery tour, there will be presentations at Ampfield House from Geosynthetics and Green-Tech Soils.

Geosynthetics will present details of their engineering department and cost-free service of calculated technical recommendations for your project’s requirements.

Green-Tech Soils will provide an insight into the pros and cons of different types of soil for tree planting, discussing the British standards currently in place, and the site-specific assistance Green-Tech can offer contractors.

The event will conclude with lunch which will be an open buffet to allow for networking and discussion.
