Job Description
Hillier Nurseries Limited run 12 very successful Garden Centres and now require an EPOS Manager to
manage, maintain & develop the ongoing & continuous integrity, infrastructure & information on the
EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) database, which is an integral part of the Hillier Gardening Club, retail
& catering propositions within Hillier Garden Centres.

Responsibility for maintaining accuracy & integrity of retail database (liaising with the retail buying
team, collating and updating changes to supplier & product details, cost prices, selling prices, vat etc);

Constructing dynamic management reports (liaising with key stakeholders, defining reporting
requirements, creating product & Centre attributes & user friendly reporting templates, generating &
distributing reports as required)

Experience:

* Demonstrable experience in the managing & administration / supporting of EPOS systems
* Significant previous experience in constructing new databases and aligning to the requirements of
specialist & non-specialist end users
* Demonstrable high levels of interpersonal and communication skills, and confidence in dealing with a
wide range of staff, stakeholders, and suppliers
* Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office and Windows Operating System
* Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Job Description
We are currently seeking a Shop Manager at our Hemel Hempstead Garden Centre. The ideal candidate will be an experienced retailer with a passion for customer service, a flair for visual merchandising and display and be able to lead and develop a knowledgeable and busy, customer service based team.

You will be responsible for the Garden Shop, Leisure and Giftware departments, leading and motivating your team, maintain stock to achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets.

The Tills and Customer Service Desk will also be your responsibility as part of the Management Team, providing excellent service and advice to our customers. You will be expected to act as Duty Manager, as required, supporting the Garden Centre Manager and Plant Area Manager in the day-to-day running of the Store.

Hours of work will be an average of 37.5 a week, working 5 days from 7 to include alternate weekends.

Job Description
We are currently seeking a Stock Controller to work at our busy Bath Garden Centre.

As Stock Controller you will be responsible for all Goods-In activity within that Centre, this includes the compliance of all legislation.

Accuracy of stock control to ensure smooth running of all Goods Inwards processes and the highest standards are required.

A FLT licence and a good level of IT skills would be an advantage, however training will be given if required.

Hours of work will be 37.5 a week Monday – Friday. You will be required to work some additional hours in order to execute your duties in a timely manner, including some Bank Holidays and stock take day.
