Job Description
We are currently seeking a Shop Manager at our Bath Garden Centre. Working 37.5 hours a week, 5 days from 7 to include alternate weekends with a day off in the week. You will be required to work bank holidays.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced retailer with a passion for customer service, a flair for visual merchandising and display and be able to lead and develop a knowledgeable and busy, customer service based team.

You will be responsible for the Garden Shop, Leisure and Giftware departments, leading and motivating your team, maintain stock to achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets.

The Tills and Customer Service Desk will also be your responsibility as part of the Management Team, providing excellent service and advice to our customers. You will be expected to act as Duty Manager, as required, supporting the Garden Centre Manager and Plant Area Manager in the day-to-day running of the Store.

As Stock Controller you will be responsible for all Goods-In activity within that Centre, this includes the compliance of all legislation.

Accuracy of stock control to ensure smooth running of all Goods Inwards processes and the highest standards are required.

A FLT licence and a good level of IT skills would be an advantage, however training will be given if required.

Hours of work will be 37.5 a week Monday – Friday. You will be required to work some additional hours in order to execute your duties in a timely manner, including some Bank Holidays and stock take day.

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Catering Assistant to work front of house and in the Kitchen at our Coffee Shop at our Banbury Garden Centre, working 15 hours a week, Saturday and Sunday working. You may be required to work bank holidays and additional hours to cover sickness/holidays etc.

Duties will include preparing, serving food to the required standard, cash handling, ensuring all health and safety standards are met including cleaning and all associated tasks.

Flexibility, enthusiasm, dedication and a high level of customer service are most important.
