You will be providing a quality catering service to our visitors. Ideally you will have some catering experience. A basic food hygiene certificate would be an advantage, however training will be given.

Flexibility, enthusiasm, dedication and a high level of customer service are most important.

Duties will include cash handling, preparing cooking and serving food and snacks to a high standard. Ensuring all health and safety standards are met including cleaning of the kitchen and all associated tasks.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to work within a small friendly team, based in the Accounts Department at our Head Office, Ampfield House, Nr Romsey, Hampshire.

Duties will include processing and clearance of purchase invoices, supplier account reconciliations, dealing with payment runs, data input, switchboard cover and various other adhoc duties.

You should possess good numerical skills, be computer literate with good keyboard skills, be highly accurate, have good organisational skills and have experience of the Purchase Ledger. The ability to work to deadlines is required.

This is a 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm with one hour lunch daily. Some overtime may be required in busy periods.

The tills and customer service desk will also be your responsibility as part of the Management team, providing excellent service and advice to our customers. You will be expected to act as Duty Manager as required, supporting the Garden Centre Manager and Plant Area Manager in the day-to-day running of the Store.
