Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Plant Area Manager for our Garden Centre, Chichester.

The successful candidiate will be a skilled team leader: highly moticated, enthusiastic, innovative and able to think creatively in order to maximize sales and profit.

He or she will be a good problem solver who knows how to get the best from a team and who is able to see the 'bigger' picture.

Good plant knowledge is important; a willingness to learn and passion for plants and gardening is essential.

The position will involve:
* Leading the plant area team to provide excellent customer service, and a product range that will inspire.
* Stock control, purchasing of stock and associated maintenance of the plant area.
* Working to and exceeding budgets and targets.
* Some responsibility for health and safety on site.
* Being a keyholder.
* Responsibilities when Duty Manager to include: banking/cashing up and taking responsibility for the whole site in the Garden Centre Manager's absence.

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a part time Temporary Coffee Shop Assistant to work an average of 20 hours per week at our Coffee Shop in our Eastbourne Garden Centre.

You will be providing a quality catering service to our visitors. Ideally you will have some catering experience. A basic food hygiene certificate would be an advantage, however training will be given.

Flexibility, enthusiasm, dedication and a high level of customer service are most important.

Duties will include cash handling, preparing cooking and serving food and snacks to a high standard. Ensuring all health and safety standards are met including cleaning of the kitchen and all associated tasks.

Hours of working will be 3 days during the week, 11.00am - 4.00pm and alternate weekends, Saturday 12.00pm - 5.00pm & Sunday 11.30am - 4.30pm.
